Description

This 1 L grout sealer protects absorbent floor or wall joints. Use it to treat the porous grout between tiles that may need no sealing themselves.

Where to apply grout sealer

For protecting absorbent grout joints in tiled installations. Intended mainly for floor grout and may also be used on porous wall grout. Apply to clean, absorbent grout rather than treating glazed tile as an absorbent surface.

Choose Grout Seal when the joints require treatment but the surrounding tile faces do not. The total length and width of those joints matter more for estimating product needs than the overall floor area alone.

Before you start

Check that the joints are clean and accept the treatment. Follow the label for application and clean-up on surrounding tile faces, especially on a surface that will not absorb the sealer.

Estimating by joint length

TFC gives approximate yields per litre of 700 linear metres on a 3 mm joint and 500 linear metres on a 6 mm joint. Measure the joint runs rather than treating those figures as square metres of tiled floor.
