Choosing the 5 L satin stone sealer

Solvent-based treatment for suitable porous natural stone and cement tiles. It penetrates the material and also seals the surface, enhancing colour and leaving a satin finish. Test the appearance first, especially on light or highly absorbent stone.

Select the satin version when that is the finish you want on compatible porous stone. Finish and colour are separate choices: even a low-sheen treatment can deepen the tone of the stone.

Before you start

Use an offcut or an unobtrusive area of the same stone and evaluate the dry result in the room’s lighting. Check that both the tone and the satin finish suit the installation before treating adjacent slabs.

Planning the quantity

TFC’s natural stone sealer guide gives approximately 7–10 m² per litre, depending on porosity. Treat this as an estimate and use a test patch of the actual stone to gauge take-up. The guide specifies Quick Clean for maintenance.
