Mahogany Woodseal 500ml

Description

Mahogany woodseal 500ml is the Mahogany 500ml version of Colortone Wood Seal, a solvent-based exterior timber finish. The lead-free formula provides UV protection and water repellence while leaving a matt appearance. It is designed for exposed wooden surfaces where weather protection is required.

Application guide

First, remove any existing coating by sanding or with a suitable paint stripper. Wash away dust, dirt and oil, then allow the wood to dry. Stir the Wood Seal thoroughly before use. Apply the first coat by brush after diluting the product with 10% mineral turpentine. Next, apply two further undiluted coats. Finally, clean the brush with mineral turpentine.

Safety and practical notes

The solvent-based coating is flammable. Meanwhile, keep it out of reach of children and store it in a cool, dry area. Additionally, use suitable protective equipment and avoid contact with skin and eyes during preparation and application. Drying time and coverage vary with weather and timber. Therefore, for Mahogany woodseal 500ml, begin only when the prepared wood is clean and dry.
