Description
The INGCO AHM008 auto darkening welding helmet combines a variable shade filter with a 92 x 42mm viewing area. Two arc sensors detect the welding arc, while the external shade control adjusts the dark setting from DIN 9 to DIN 13. This gives you a clear choice of shade for the welding process.
Auto darkening welding helmet features
- Two arc sensors activate the filter when an arc is detected.
- External shade adjustment covers DIN 9–13.
- The light state is DIN 4.
- Solar-assisted power works with two CR2032 lithium batteries.
- A grinding function provides a separate operating mode.
- A low-battery indicator helps identify when the batteries need attention.
Filter response and visibility
The filter changes from light to dark in 1/15000 of a second. After the arc stops, the automatic return delay ranges from 0.1 to 1 second. Sensitivity control and power switching are automatic, so the main external adjustment is the selected dark shade.
The rectangular viewing area measures 92 x 42mm. The complete filter cartridge measures 110 x 90 x 9mm; this is the cartridge size, rather than the visible window. Keeping those dimensions distinct helps when checking the helmet’s filter specification.
