Before you start
Ventilate the area: Work in a well-ventilated space or outdoors. The smell is strong.
Protect surroundings: Lay down drop cloths to protect other surfaces from overspray.
Masking: Use painter’s tape to cover any areas you don’t want to paint.

Applying the paint
Shake the can: Shake the can vigorously for at least one minute to ensure the paint is thoroughly mixed.
Spray technique: Hold the can 25-40cm away from the surface and use steady, overlapping strokes in a straight line.
Apply in light coats: Apply two or more medium coats for best results, using light, continuous motion to prevent drips and runs.
Let it dry: Allow each coat to dry according to the product’s instructions before applying the next. The paint dries to touch quickly but may need longer to fully cure.

After painting
Cleanup: Clean the spray tip if necessary, and wait for the paint to dry before cleaning up the area. Follow the instructions on the can for proper disposal.
Full cure: The paint will be fully cured and resistant to rust in about 24 hours.
