SPRAYPAINT APPLIANCE STAINLESS STEEL BLACK 340G (RUSTOLEUM)

SPRAYPAINT APPLIANCE STAINLESS STEEL BLACK 340G (RUSTOLEUM)

Specialty Appliance Epoxy is a hard, moisture resistant enamel that is specifically formulated for indoor metal surfaces. It provides a smooth, washable surface for refinishing the exterior of appliances such as refrigerators, dishwashers, laundry machines, dryers and other indoor metal applications such as tables or cabinets.

For interior use only.

To use Rust-Oleum Appliance Epoxy Spray, start by thoroughly cleaning the appliance and masking off any areas you don’t want to paint. Apply 2-3 light, even coats, shaking the can well and maintaining a consistent distance, allowing a few minutes between coats. Do not use on surfaces exposed to direct heat like stovetops or oven interiors.
Before you begin
Clean the surface: Wash the appliance with soap and water, then dry it completely.
Prepare the area: Mask off any parts you do not want to paint, such as handles, controls, or the surrounding floor.
Lightly sand: For best results on glossy surfaces, lightly sand the area to create a surface the paint can adhere to. Wipe away any sanding dust.
Ventilate: Ensure the area is well-ventilated, as spray paint fumes can be strong.

Applying the paint
Shake the can: Vigorously shake the can for at least one minute to ensure the paint is properly mixed.
Spray light coats: Apply 2-3 light coats, not one heavy coat, to avoid drips. Hold the can about 25-40 cm from the surface.
Keep moving: Spray in a steady, back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke. Start and stop spraying past the edges of the surface to ensure an even finish.
Re-coat in time: If a second coat is needed, apply it within 30 minutes of the first coat.

Finishing up
Let it dry: Allow the appliance to dry completely for at least 24 hours before use.
