PRATLEY PUTTY STEEL 100g

Description:
Pratley Putty Steel 100g is a versatile epoxy putty used for a wide range of repairs and applications, including sealing metal water tanks and radiators, repairing engine parts, replacing broken handles, and filling holes in metal castings. It adheres to most rigid materials and can be drilled, sanded, machined, and painted after it has cured.
It is hand mouldable, sets like steel and matches the colour of steel.

Uses include:
Automotive and machinery: Sealing metal water tanks, cracked car sumps, and radiators; repairing engine crankcases and metal castings; refitting loose screws.
Household and general repairs: Repairing garden implements, replacing broken handles on kitchenware, fixing ceramic fuse holders and insulators, repairing cement furniture, and filling blow holes in castings.
Moulding and fabrication: Creating custom models and sculptures, making fishing sinkers, and making fillets or filling seams in metal parts.
Bonding: Bonding ceramics, slate, tile, and other rigid materials.

Curing and finishing:
It cures at a medium speed, allowing for adjustments.

Not recommended for:
Very high temperatures (e.g., on exhaust pipes).
Bonding rear-view mirrors to windscreens.
Flexible materials or plastics like polypropylene and polyethylene.
Underwater use.
