SPRAYPAINT GLOW IN THE DARK MAX 283G (RUSTOLEUM)

Rust-Oleum Glow in the Dark MAX is used for various projects on multiple surfaces, including wood, metal, drywall, and plastic, for both indoor and outdoor applications. Common uses include decorative accents, kids’ room decorations, school projects, and holiday decor to create glowing effects for up to 4-8 hours after charging with light.

1. Prepare the surface
Clean the surface thoroughly to remove dirt, grease, and other contaminants.
For best results, spray a white or light-colored primer, especially on dark surfaces, and let it dry completely.
Ensure good ventilation or spray outdoors in a well-ventilated area.

2. Apply the paint
Shake the can vigorously for at least one minute until you hear the mixing ball rattle.
Hold the can 25-40cm from the surface.
Apply the paint in a steady, back-and-forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke.
Apply multiple light coats a few minutes apart. The more coats, the brighter the glow will be.
Keep the can in constant motion while spraying.

3. Dry and charge the paint
Allow the paint to dry to the touch in about 15 minutes, and to handle in 1–2 hours.
Wait for it to be fully dry (about 24 hours) before exposing it to light.
Expose the painted object to a strong light source, such as direct sunlight or a bright artificial light, for several hours to charge it. The longer it charges, the longer and brighter it will glow.
For outdoor use, reapplication may be needed, and you can apply a clear coat to protect the finish.
