Description

The Festool TS 55 FEBQ-Plus-FS plunge-cut saw combines a 1,200W mains-powered saw with an FS 1400/2 guide rail. This FES577010 listing is one package: the saw and the 1,400mm rail are included together. A Systainer³ case stores the saw and its supplied accessories.

Controlled plunge-cut saw operation

Set the cutting depth for the material, then use the rail to guide straight cuts. The saw reaches 55mm at 90° and 43mm at 45°. Its bevel range runs from -1° to 47°, including an undercut setting. The cutting line stays in the same position when the saw tilts on the rail.

Variable speed control lets you adjust the blade speed to the work. The quick-acting brake stops the blade promptly after switching off, while the viewing window helps you see the cutting area. The supplied splinterguard helps reduce tear-out, and FastFix assists blade changes.

Delivery

The saw in its carrying case and the included FS 1400/2 guide rail are supplied in two separate parcels shipped together as one order.

Panel cutting and installation

Use this package for cutting sheet material, trimming interior doors and making accurate timber cuts. You can also use the plunge action for suitable expansion-joint work. Choose a blade that suits the material, and connect a compatible dust extractor when required; a dust extractor is not included.
