EXPERIENCE: Women’s Wood Workshop

The first ever Ladies Woodwork Shop at DIY Hardware

It was a lovely event when women (and some men) came together to enjoy the first Women’s Wood Workshop at DIY Hardware – the Do It Yourself Shop.

It was a relaxed environment where lessons on working with powertools from Ingco was experienced. The ladies received the material that they needed to complete the project, the instruction and support from the Ingco Team, and the encouragement from Jackie to pursue the project to the end.

Said Jackie, “This is a project which I have wanted to introduce at DIY for a very long time. To have ladies enjoy learning how to use new skills in a DIY environment is simply wonderful.

I am so pleased that Ingco Tools has joined this project. We are going to try and roll out four events of this type in 2026. We have to start somewhere, and if this is a start then we can really grow this unique experience.”

We will place some instructive videos below, but otherwise join us for some entertainment.
